Something they can't buy, I guess. Like, some quality time together or something like that.

I don't know anyone who has everything, so I couldn't tell you for sure.

Huh,  I haven't posted in a while.

Anyway, Rianne visited from Holland this past week, we had fun, caught up, bonded, cried minimally at the airport, all's swell.

I'm in a substandard university with substandard classes, it's easy and I hope they got my tuition check. I don't need collection agencies sending their goons over to break my fingers.

And the fursuiting goes well, I had some nice chill time at FurFright. I wish the dances had been better, though.

I was surprised to learn that our exchange student Rianne will be visiting us the week of October 24th! Confirmed!

Yayayayayayay I've missed her so much! :D

Well, not really.

But there will be furs in mud! If you've got some spare change, support Team Furst State at the First Annual Delaware Mud Run! We'll be running a 5 km obstacle course this Sunday, and we're raising the money to support Leukemia research. We and all the cancer patients thank you. :3

This is the single most open ended question I have ever read. Ever. It's like something I'd answer if 5th grade. What the heck, LJ?

Also, I played Ironclaw for 7 hours today. *geek*

Gosh, guys, running a business is hard! On top of the actual orders, there's always something new you have to buy, or new documents you have to write, or emails you have to answer. Now I know why so many people don't make a real profit for a few years!

Also, I started pondering quadsuits. I won't sell them until they're perfect (and I know what insurance protects me liability-wise), but I'm just thinking about it.

I'm also thinking about guinea pigs.

Settle with what you have and don't try to make your body something it isn't. *coughplasticsurgerycough*

You get a gold star!
Created a character for Ironclaw today. For those who don't know, it's furry DnD. I'm a middle-aged one-armed rat messenger with prehensile feet, tail, and a flail.

Just ordered two sets of polyhedral dice from eBay, too. Oh, and I also bought a sharpie to put a massive "L" on my forehead. :B

Bye bye, llama.

I sold the Drama Llama yesterday. Yeah, he's a fun suit to wear, but I need more equipment for my business, and that's more important. Besides that, he's going to an excellent home, so I'm not worried about him being cooped up in a closet. :)  So bye bye, llama! See you on the west side!

Congratulations! You won a million dollars but you have to give it all away. How will you distribute the money?

Send my autistic sister to a school that will actually help

Give some to friends who REALLY need it

Loan it to deserving entrepreneurs

Give LOTS to several charities (Kiva, Feeding America, some adoption agencies, SPCA, The Sierra Club to name a few)

Go to restaurants, and if I get a waiter/waitress who seems to need it, leave them a substantial tip

Donate to furry conventions, because they donate to charities

and some other things.

RIP John Hughes. In honor of the master of the teen movie, what is your favorite teen flick?

View 506 Answers

I dunno, I kinda hate teen flicks. . .and chick flicks. . . and slasher flicks. . . and everything Disney's made since "Home on the Range". . .

But anyway, looking at the work of this John Hughes fellow, "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" is definitely one of my favs. :3 I've never seen the first Home Alone, but I've seen the second several times and it was great! They don't make movies like that anymore.

And btw, cocaine???

WHY BILLY? WHY YOU GOTTA DO ME LIKE THIS???

We get FitTV on Verizon, so I did a half-hour aerobics/body toning workout with the tv. Total Body Sculpt with Gilad to be exact. It's really funny doing crunches with this foreign guy barking at you. =O

But seriously, I felt the burn and was sweating in the first five minutes! I'm too self-conscious to go to a gym, so if I do this every day I think I'll finally be able to flatten my stomach and get some upper body strength, as I have none whatsoever. XD Now to get a couple of weights. . .

AC Review

  • Jul. 16th, 2009 at 8:27 PM

Okay, here's that con report I promised for you guys. =D

It was fun! I mean, nothing I hadn't already experienced at FWA, just bigger. I mainly went to the dances, which rocked! Props to everyone who set up/operated all the lights and lasers, and props to the DJs, too! Everyone made it amazing. ^^ I also did a lot of dancing, which was a workout. It's too bad I can't to to raves every weekend, I'd lose a lot of weight! Maybe I'll set up a temp rave scene in my basement, I have the room.

The only thing I didn't like was the long lines, but it's to be expected. I didn't pre-reg, so I spent 1 hr 45 min waiting in the registration line. Had I sprung an extra $40 for sponsor registration, I'd have been able to cut in front of that whole line, but oh well. :P All in all, it was a good time!

Well, except for the fact that I gained 3 pounds. But it's okay, I'm taking some Slim-Fast shakes with me to San Diego next week so it won't happen again. :D

I found this old 1945 winged liberty head dime, also known as a mercury dime. I looked it up, and the thing is 90% silver. Unfortunately, it's only worth about $1, but that's still cool 'cause it's 10 times more than face value! Usually value depreciates over time. I mean, you can't buy a bottle of soda for a nickel anymore. ;)

Since it's not worth much now, I'll hold on to it. You know, until the value of silver skyrockets.
